Handy Andy - The Handyman Who Can
I am now and I guess I have always been "Handy Andy", I just didn't realize it right away. I do remember the day the seed was planted though. I was outside playing with my neighbors, I was maybe 7 or 8 years old, and one of the girl's bikes handlebars was crooked. So, I took a look at it, saw the problem, got the right tool, and fixed it. Her older sister exclaimed "nice job Handy-Andy!" and it made me feel good about myself and my neighbors happy. From there on my jobs or business ventures have always been about helping fix things and creating solutions. I recently moved back to be closer to my family here in Wisconsin.

Hi, my name is Andy, many call me "Handy Andy" and I want to be your Handyman in the Three Lakes, Eagle River, Conover, Land O' Lakes area. For over 45 years I have been coming up from Oshkosh and Arizona to our family cabin to hunt, fish, work, and snowmobile.

Custom Woodworking
When I have time, I love making tables out of wine barrels. It adds such a nice touch to any home when you add wine barrel furniture to it.

Outdoor Projects
Outside home improvements add usability and beauty to your home or cabin. Adding a privacy fence, or deck to the yard adds resale value and is great for entertaining and enjoying the outdoors. Utility sheds for a workshop or extra storage are a great project too.
Custom Furniture
The time flys by when I am in the shop woodworking. I make custom original furniture by reclaiming or repurposing wood from things like barns and cedar docks. The history of the area is all around and it is engrained in the peices I craft.

Sustainability Projects
Gardens are great for growing food but the Northwoods season is short, which makes it tough to get crops all the way to harvest many years. Simple and inexpensive solution is a greenhouse. Get an early start and grow longer into the year.

The goal of any project is to reach three primary objectives: finish the project on time, within budget, and with the expected degree of quality.
This requires close attention to detail before beginning actual construction, as well as during the project. Taking proactive measures helps me to determine possible obstacles that could cause problems in any one of the 3 major concerns before problems occur.
I am analytical, detail orientated, and thorough when entering into any project so that I deliver the best quality I can to my customers. If they are not happy, I won't ask them to pay for my time until they are.
